Piano Hire

The once-off rental of a piano for a special occasion or function can be arranged. It will be delivered, tuned and removes afterwards. The service is costly, but you are welcome to ask for a quotation first.

A long-term rental can also be arranged, suited especially for beginners as parents are uncertain whether their children will continue with the lessons. The minimum rental period is six months. A once-off delivery fee is payable on signing the contract. The contract can be be paid in full (for six months) by cheque, cash or by debit order.

If a client decides to buy the piano that they are currently hiring (or any other new or second hand piano) after renting for at least 6 months, the 6-month rental paid will be deducted from the purchase price. If renting for longer than a year, the client must have the piano serviced and tuned for their own account. If anything else may be wrong, it will be fixed at the supplier’s cost and discretion. If a client wants to move a piano, it must be done by Lukas van der Walt Piano tuners for their account.
